Anybody like conspiracy theories? I do, probably a lot more than I should, and I decided to write a conspiracy thriller, (well, a handful in a reality, but one at a time, of course). I've come down to two conspiracies: HAARP, or "High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program," or something with "Die Glocke," or the Nazi Bell. I'm leaning more toward HAARP, but it's up to the readers! Do some homework, a.k.a. research on these two and let me know which one you'd like to see unfold in a story. Of course, I'm working on the second installment in the Sound of Thunder series and I even have a name, but I won't tell. ;) There are a couple other stories I have but those are planned for down the road, most of them are that is.
In other news, Sound of Thunder, Strike of Lightning is on all major book retailers, now, like Books-A-Million, B&N. You know. The debacle we had is no more. I'm still slowly, but surely comprehending my book being out in the world and not just in my computer's memory.
In 2 days, the giveaway for Strike of Lightning will begin on Goodreads, so if you want a free signed copy, now's your chance!
Aaron.

Goodreads & Other Things
My author profile on Goodreads is set up. Yay! Also, the Strike of Lightning is up on Amazon and B&N and Books-A-Million, too. I, again want to give many thanks to the people at Aventine Press for making this possible.
I may or may not have a book giveaway in the near future. 😉
Have a great week.

Semi-bad news.
So the retailers, (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.) do not have the novels on their databases yet. I had intended on surprising everybody with the novel once the retailers got the novels ready to sell, but that fell through.
Sorry,
Aaron.
Publication!!
A year and a half ago, I began writing this novel, a novel of perseverance, of courage, and of hope. I wanted to put my heart out on paper, what had been on my mind out to the world, and I wanted to chase down a dream. Writing found me not too long before I wrote this, and an idea of a career of doing this sounded like a beautiful dream, so I spent every night and morning working on this, and I had a blast, despite the bad times that came sometimes, despite the disbelief that would come from within or from others at moments, or despite the times I wanted to give up so badly. Sound of Thunder, Strike of Lightning is the first of many, (and I mean many) novels to come from me, but this one will always be my favorite. It's safe to say that I'm incredibly proud of myself.
P.S. there are several people I forgot to mention in my acknowledgments page, unfortunately, so I'll acknowledge them now.
The first one is Aaron Denius Garcia, the author of the young adult novel, "Gene. Sys." I went to my namesake near the end of writing Strike of Lightning for answers, and he definitely delivered. Every time I messaged him, he responded, and he wasn't hesitant to enlighten me on my questions. Thank you, Aaron.
Markus Ahonen is another author of multiple novels who also aided me with answers to my endless questions. Thank you, Markus.
The last acknowledgment is to all of my English and reading and literature teachers from grades. You all truly brought me to writing and reading, and it is thanks to you that I'm here today.

Counting Down
My publisher told me the novel will be coming out in two to four weeks. That was a week ago. I've been checking my email religiously, hoping for a confirmation of Strike of Lightning being finished and ready to order.
This has made me wildly impatient.
I'd put the cover on here, but I'd rather it be a surprise. The only people who were supposed to know originally was just one friend of mine, but that eventually stretched to my mother, several of my friends, and my roommates; basically everyone. On multiple occasions, I posted on social media my plans of writing, but I know nobody really expected this to happen this soon, and that's great because this is a surprise I want to be perfect.
In other news, the second installment of Sound of Thunder has been started, and other works aside from Sound of Thunder have been under way. Sound of Thunder won't be alone in its progression forward, because from what I've learned, it's not good to stick with one story/storyline. When writing Strike of Lightning, I didn't write anything else, and that resulted in some days without anything at all to contribute to the story. I feel this would happen to my readers, too. If I got die hard fans/readers, (which would be rad), they'd probably get bored with Sound of Thunder and/or would simply want to read something else if I didn't put anything else out. Maybe. I don't know. Time will tell.
As said before, always hold courage and belief in what lies within.

First post!
On August 31, 2015, I created my first character and my first story, and I began my wriing journey with a hope to mend hearts broken with said character and story and to do what I love. I know it's kind of ironic, but blog writing hasn't been my kind of writing, so my blogs will probably be short, but plenty. There's nothing wrong with that though. This post is to the future, to all the posts I'll write and all of the people I'll meet and a big thank you to all the people who will read this even though it's... flawed. It's a thank you to my future readers and supporters.
Move forward in courage, look up with eyes full of dreams, and do everything with strong self-belief.
